This higher-level graduate course aims to help students practice fluency, formulate and exchange opinions and enhance critical thinking and reasoned decision making skills through the study of Presentation and Debate. Students will develop critical thinking skills regarding the global political environment. Cooperative learning will be a main focus with students learning about various content areas from each other. Teamwork, autonomy, and research skills will be developed. A variety of topical issues related to Global Politics will be examined, with students given the opportunity to investigate topics related to their own particular interests as the course progresses.
